INGREDIENTS :-
Ash gourd - 2 cups
Onion - 1/2 cup
Green chillie - 3
Curry leaves - 5
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
METHOD :-
1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and when they pop add cumin seeds and fry onion.
2. Saute the onions till transparent.
3. Add curry leaves and green chillie and fry for a minute.
4. Now add ash gourd and mix well.
5. Add turmeric powder and salt and saute for a minute. Cover and cook in low flame till its almost done.
6. Add grated coconut and saute for 2 minutes.
Serve with rice and dal or Chapati.
